Subject: Df(1)w-194A cytology
I analyzed polytene chromosome squashes of Df(1)w-194A (FBab0014444) and
found the following. The distal breakpoint is either in the interband
between 3A1 and 3A2 or in the distal part of 3A2. The proximal breakpoint
lies between the 3C2,3 doublet and the 3C5,6 doublet. Consequently, the
breakpoints are 3A1-2;3C3-5.
