On the ResGen invoice, the item number was 98002 and the clone id is
listed as RE50220 (plate 502, row b, col 8, library RE, vector pFlc1,
antibiotic amp).
The gene corresponds to CG10335 gene product and was identified as PBGS
on the basis of a blast search that I ran on 4/26/2000. The record for
CG10335 does not identify the gene as encoding porphobilinogen synthase
(a.k.a. 5-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase). Although we confirmed the
sequence, we did not deposit it in the databases.
