The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Hugo Bellen, Baylor College of Medicine.
P{GAL4}17A (FBti0004213) is a second chromosome insertion of P{GawB} isolated by Andrea Brand, which drives GAL4 expression in larval and adult
glia.
Additional observations at the Stock Center have shown that it drives GAL4 expression in larval and adult salivary glands and cardia (proventriculus).
