(2003) Dev 130:3187-3204 we published the generation of 3 deficiencies (Fig. 5A), but exact sequences of breakpoints had not been included in the article. Here are the molecular data that characterize the breakpoints of the deficiencies reported. Data were obtained by sequencing an inverse PCR product from the 5' end of the retained P-insertion. The first 60 bases after the P-end are given (nucleotide 1 which is the first genomic nucleotide present after the last 5'EP nucleotide thus characterizes the 1st breakpoint). The unchanged 3'end of the EP insertion can be considered the other breakpoint.
