Subject: Re: Df(3L)XG9
All Df(3L)XG chromosomes are X-ray induced white revertants of P(lacW)B204,
including XG9. Kevin Cook from Bloomington determined the breakpoints of all
XG deficiencies but XG9. The only breakpoint information that I have is:
distal breakpoint:
between STS71-3 and STSDm2216
position of STS Dm2216: nt45452..45126 in AE003530 between CG13453
and CrebA
position of STS71-3: nt 37440..37606 in AE003530, within CG17014
proximal breakpoint
not determined (beyond the STS that I tested)
breakpoint of XG7
proximal:
between STS71-3 and STSDm2216
