The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Lucy Cherbas, Indiana University (2/06).
P{UAS-EcR.B2.W650A}TP5, P{UAS-EcR.A.W650A}TP5 and P{UAS-EcR.A.F645A}TP2 are homozygous viable and fertile, second chromosome insertions.
P{UAS-EcR.B2.F645A} is a dominant negative construct of the EcR B2 isoform constructed as described in Brown et al., "Use of time-lapse imaging and dominant negative receptors to dissect the steroid receptor control of neuronal remodeling in Drosophila", Development 133, 275-285 (2006). It resembles the P{UAS-EcR.B2.W650A} construct described in the paper, except that it carries a mutation causing a F645A amino acid change instead of a mutation causing a W650A amino acid change.
P{UAS-EcR.B2.F645A}TP1 is a homozygous viable and fertile, third chromosome insertion.
