I am writing in connection with record in FlyBase for Dvir\ml. Nowadays there is no doubt in nature of these mutant alleles. Our alleles are new variants of D. virilis 'miniature', which has the symbol Dvir\mt (FBgn0016547). Could you please merge these gene records? Also we have some more publications devoted to investigation of D.melanogaster miniature homolog in D.virilis.
