Df(2L)FDD-0428643 and Df(2L)FDD-0042597 are FLP recombinase-induced deletions.
Df(2L)FDD-0428643 extends between the insertion sites of P{RS3}CB-5096-3 (FBti0028398) and PBac{WH}f07522 (FBti0053547).  The Release 5 breakpoints of the deletion are  2L:13513468 ;13834944 and the the predicted cytological breakpoints are 34C3;34D6.
Df(2L)FDD-0042597 extends between the insertion sites of P{XP}d03030 (FBti0055052) and PBac{RB}CG7532e01905 (FBti0041549).  The deletion is homozygous viable.  Exelixis, Inc. mapped PBac{RB}CG7532e01905 to Release 3 coordinate  2L:14331696 , which corresponds to Release 5 coordinate  2L:14349544 . The Release 5 breakpoints of the deletion are  2L:14334095 ;14349544 and the predicted cytological breakpoints are 35A4;35A4.
