P{H+tLa} is a genomic rescue construct for the Hairless (H) gene. A SacI fragment of Hairless genomic DNA was cloned into SacI-cut pSK-Bluescript. Then an XbaI-StuI fragment of Hairless genomic DNA was excised and cloned into XbaI-StuI cut pP{CaSpeR-4}.
P{H+tLa}2 is a homozygous viable and fertile, second chromosome insertion.
