The allele referred to as "MENE(3R)-BGG11" in Morrison et al., 2008, Mol. Biol. Cell 19(10): 4167--4176 is the same mutation as that referred to as "MENE(3R)-CGG11" in Menut et al., 2007, Genetics 177(3): 1667--1677 and it is a member of the MENE(3R)-C complementation group, not the MENE(3R)-B complementation group.
Thus it is the MENE(3R)-C complementation group (that was first described in Menut et al., 2007, Genetics 177(3): 1667--1677) that corresponds to the Vps45 gene, and not the MENE(3R)-B complementation group.
