The following information was provided by Bruno Bello, University of Basel.
P{tetO-tau.GFP} was constructed in the lab of Walter Gehring. It consists of the coding sequences for the tau microtubule binding protein fused to the coding sequence for GFP under the control of the tetO promoter. It was constructed using the pWTP2 vector, which was constructed by Bruno Bello to express coding sequences under the control of the tetO promoter. A map of this vector is attached.
P{tetO-tau.GFP}26 is a homozygous viable and fertile, second chromosome insertion.
P{tetO-tau.GFP}23 is a homozygous viable and fertile, third chromosome insertion.
