The Gene Disruption Project has submitted to GenBank a flanking sequence for the P-element insertion d11041 (FBti0042964).  The GenBank accession is FI927053 and the site of insertion is  2L:19398222 . This insertion was part of the collection generated by Exelixis Inc. and the flanking sequence was determined by them.  The GDP submitted the Exelixis flanking sequences for many of their insertions several years ago, but, the flank for d11041 had not been previously submitted and so it's precise insertion site has not been available from FlyBase.
