The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Gunter Merdes, ETH Zurich.
P{UAS-alphaAPLP2.LV} is composed of UAS sequences upstream of human APLP2 with a truncated extracellular domain (the APP signal peptide is directly fused to the APLP2 alpha-secretase cleavage site) fused to LexA-VP16 at the C-terminus.
P{UAS-alphaAPLP2.LV}3 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome.
