The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Gunter Merdes, ETH Zurich.
P{UAS-N.S2.LV} is composed of UAS sequences upstream of a truncated Notch (Notch sequences between the signal peptide and the S2 cleavage site have been deleted) fused C-terminally to LexA-VP16.
P{UAS-N.S2.LV}3 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome.
