The line ML-DmBG3-c2-Mt-GFP-Act5C was made in the DGRC by me.  I transformed the preexisting CNS line ML-DmBG3-c2 with a plasmid expressing GFP-tagged actin 5C from a metallothionein promoter; the plasmid was a gift from Steven Rogers.  The GFP-actin plasmid was co-transformed with the plasmid p8HCO (described in FBrf0053391), which carries a methotrexate-resistance marker.
