Sequence map data for the Gene Disruption Project insertion lines MI01252, MI01623, MI02899 and MI02995 is ambiguous. In each case, the 5prime and 3prime flanking sequence maps to the same site but on opposite strands. The cause for this ambiguity is unknown, but possibilities include internal rearrangements within the transposon, or some kind of local inverted duplication of genomic sequence.
