Dear Madame/Sir, We would like to name the product of the Drosophila melanogaster gene CG12479 as Minos1a, the product of the gene CG41128 as Minos1b and product of the gene CG13564 as Minos1c. All three are clear orthologs of the human protein c1orf151 that has recently been assigned with the symbol MINOS1 (Mitochondrial INner membrane Organizing System 1).
