Assuming the insertion might be near other trap insertions in trol, used primers that complemented nearby genomic sequence, paired with P element primers from each end, and got PCR products from the G00022 line. They place the P element in trol, at around 2412142 on the X, very near the other two trap insertions and in the same reverse orientation on the chromosome.
