The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Leslie Vosshall, Rockefeller University.
M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.A}, M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.B}, M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.C}, M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.D}, M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.E}, M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.F} and M{UAS-Aaeg\Or4.G} express different allelic variants of the Aedes aegypti Or4 gene under control of UAST sequences. Flies expressing different variants differ in sensitivity to the odor 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one. The sequences of the alleles have been archived in GenBank.
