Complementation tests here at the Bloomington Stock Center showed that there is no recessive lethal phenotype associated with the P{lacW}l(2)k02605k02605 (FBti0006882) insertion. The insertion was viable in combination with Df(2R)ED1742 (FBab0033045) and Df(2R)Exel8047 (FBab0038072), two deletions spanning the P{lacW}l(2)k02605k02605 insertion site. Females from both crosses were fertile. Since the insertion lies within rgr, it should be renamed P{lacW}rgrk02605.
Flies carrying P{EPgy2}rgrEY05121 (FBti0039716) or Mi{MIC}rgrMI00450 (FBti0129387) in combination with Df(2R)Exel8047 were also viable and female fertile.
