scuD (FBal0291331) was originally entered in FlyBase with the associated amino acid change S163F. However, scuD is unsequenced; the S163F amino acid change is carried by scuB, not scuD. scuD was identified as a scu allele because it fails to complement scu4058 (FBal0034857). scuB carries the S163F change and also fails to complement scu4058. Both scuD and scuB are rescued by Dp(1;3)DC341.
