In reviewing the cull list from the BDSC, I saw that FlyBase has no sequence location for P{Mae-UAS.6.11}GG01773 (FBti0071286). The BDSC stock report gives the insertion site as  X:12471592..12471592 ; this is probably based on data from the GDP. The GDP database has a location based on the alignment of the 264 nt flank submitted to GenBank by Ulrich Schaefer (accession AJ832916). However, the GDP database treats this as a 5' flank whereas the GenBank record describes it as having been isolated by 3' inverse PCR. Considering this as a 3' flank, the sequence location is  X:12471892..12471892 (-). This insertion site is near the 3' end of the non-coding exon 1 of the CG42258-RD and -RF transcripts.
