The flanking sequence for the P-element EP1322 (FBti0011864) aligns 249/249 to two segments within a locally duplicated region of the release 6 reference genome sequence. The sequence coordinates are  X:17889775 (+) and  X:17899930 (+). The former is within the GSS gene and the latter within the CG32495 gene.
