The dilp2 allele used in FBrf0239148 is a similar stock to that previously published by Gronke et al 2010 in PLOS Genetics, the homologous recombination null mutant. However, after backcrossing the Bloomington stock to our in-lab wildtype w1118 in case this was slightly different from the w1118 in the Gronke/Partridge lab, I conducted Cre recombinase excision of the w+ marker in the HR site at the dilp2 locus, so these "white -" flies are null for dilp2 but without the marker.
