Additional data concerning genomic location of two P{lacW}.G insertions:
A more precise sequence location for the P-element insertion line G0431 (FBti0013885) is provided.  FlyBase currently gives the location as a range  X:1 ,463,831..1,464,508 +, which is based on the endpoints of the alignment of the the flanking sequence (GenBank accession AJ300011) to the release 6 reference genomic sequence.  However, the GenBank record indicates the position of the target site duplication within the flanking sequence.  This places the insertion site at release 6 location  X:1464184+.
FlyBase does not currently have a sequence location for the P-element insertion G0239 (FBti0013165). Based on an alignment of the flanking sequence (GenBank accession AJ426940) with the release 6 genomic reference sequence and the position of the insertion within the flanking sequence (indicated in the GenBank record), the sequence location is  X:15813328+.
