The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Vivek Jayaraman, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Janelia Research Campus.
PBac{20XUAS-IVS-CsChrimson.mCherry} expresses a red-shifted Channelrhodopsin tagged with mCherry under the control of UAS. It is the same basic construct as P{20XUAS-CsChrimson.mCherry} (FBtp0126800) described in Jovanic et al., 2016, Cell 167:858 (FBrf0233796).
PBac{20XUAS-IVS-CsChrimson.mCherry}VK00005 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome.
