It appears that there were two issues underlying the erroneous nonsense mutation locations reported in FBrf0240471.
The main issue is that we were relying on a very early version of the fly database (circa 1998-1999). In that database, the available cDNAs for dind (CG7705) did not extend all the way to the current first exon, which is small but nonetheless includes what is now regarded to be the initiation codon according to the dind-PA protein sequence. There were only 4 exons annotated for dind instead of the 5 exons in the current annotation. This means that in the database available at the time, the initiation codon was actually the next Met in the protein, which is at position 49 in the current annotation.
The second issue is that an undergraduate who subsequently worked on this project somehow misread K74stop and Q74stop.
Thus, if you add 48 to each of the previous numbers, and accounting for the K to Q transposition,  this would be:
dind1332 = Old Q15stop = New Q63stop
dind2717 = Old Q74stop = New K122stop
dind149 = Old Q226stop = New Q274stop
dind2870 = Old Q226stop = New Q274stop
dind1020 = Old Q375stop = New Q423stop
