The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Carlos Lois, California Institute of Technology.
PBac{Hsp70-Bxb1.C} is composed of the integrase,  Bxb1:int , from Bxb1 mycobacteriophage under the control of a heat shock promoter from Hsp70. It was constructed (described in Chow et al., 2021, Science 372(6538): eabb3099, FBrf0248662) using the heatshock PRExpress vector from FBrf0236303 which includes an octamer of the bxd polycomb response element (PRE) to make it less leaky.
PBac{Hsp70-Bxb1.C}VK00027 is a homozygous viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome into VK00027 (FBti0076447).
