The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Loren Looger and the GENIE Project, Janelia Research Campus.
The following are a suite of ultra-sensitive calcium sensors termed jGCaMP8f, jGCaMP8m, and jGCaMP8s. jGCaMP8f has 4x faster rise time and 2.5x faster decay time than jGCaMP7f. jGCaMP8m has an almost 4x faster rise time and is 3.5x more sensitive than jGCaMP7f. jGCaMP8s is 2x more sensitive than jGCaMP7s and >2x faster than jGCaMP7f (at 1 AP).
