The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Hans-Martin Herz, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In http://flybase.org/reports/FBrf0226097.html, Herz et al. generated PBac{UAS-H3.3.FLAG.HA}VK00018 (http://flybase.org/reports/FBti0163130), which expresses FLAG- and HA-tagged histone 3.3 under UASt control, as well as insertions expressing similarly tagged histone 3.3 with amino acid substitutions, e.g. PBac{UAS-H3.3.K9M.FLAG.HA}VK00018 (http://flybase.org/reports/FBti0163131). Herz and colleagues also generated the following insertions by the same approach encoding tagged histone 3.3 proteins with the named amino acid substitutions: PBac{UAS-H3.3.K4M.FLAG.HA}VK00018 PBac{UAS-H3.3.K4A.FLAG.HA}VK00018 PBac{UAS-H3.3.K36M.FLAG.HA}VK00018 PBac{UAS-H3.3.K79M.FLAG.HA}VK00018 They also generated insertions expressing tagged wild type and mutant histone 3.3 under UASp control by changing only the transformation vector: PBac{UASp-H3.3.FLAG.HA}VK00018 PBac{UASp-H3.3.K4M.FLAG.HA}VK00018 PBac{UASp-H3.3.K9M.FLAG.HA}VK00018 In addition, Herz and colleagues generated UASt insertions expressing FLAG- and HA-tagged wild type and K20M mutant Histone 4 by similar methods: PBac{UAS-His4.FLAG.HA}VK00018 PBac{UAS-His4.K20M.FLAG.HA}VK00018
