The following information was provided to the Bloomington Stock Center by Tatyana Kolesnikova, Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
In(1)19EHet is an X chromosome inversion that arose spontaneously on an In(1)sc8 chromosome in a Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center stock. The distal breakpoint lies in polytene subdivision 19E at coordinate  X:20997754  (R6). The proximal breakpoint lies in region h32 of centric heterochromatin at a position to the left of the position of the In(1)sc8 heterochromatic breakpoint on the standard map.
