The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Christian Lehner, University of Zürich.
Nup62^ex161 is a null mutation generated by imprecise excision of P{GSV1}GS2186. The deletion starts 59 bp upstream of the ATG and 1,313 bp are deleted.
P{EGFP.Nup62} expresses Nup62 protein with an N-terminal EGFP tag under control of the Nup62 cis-regulatory region. It rescues the viability but not fertility of Nup62^ex161 null mutants.
P{EGFP.Nup62}III.1 is a homozygous viable and fertile third chromosome insertion.
