P{EP}Saf-BG20742 is oriented so that it presumably expresses an antisense RNA resulting in Saf-B knockdown in combination with GAL4 drivers. Rough eyes are seen in combination with a GMR-GAL4 driver. This phenotype is enhanced by simultaneous ectopic expression of the 55 kD or 69 kD Doa isoforms in the same cells.
