P{UASp-didum.GT.EGFP} expresses a dominant-negative fragment of the didum (MyoV) protein tagged at its C-terminus with EGFP under UASp control. It was generated during the work described by Krauss et al. (2009; FBrf0208250), though it was not used in experiments described in the paper. It was constructed using the same sequence cloned into pP{PW} (FBtp0018838) in constructing P{UASp-didum.GT} (FBtp0050459) except the sequence was cloned into pP{PWG} (FBmc0002874).
P{UASp-didum.GT.EGFP} was subsequently used in experiments described in Aguilar-Aragorn et al. (2020; FBrf0245171) and Tanasic et al. (2022) "Myosin V facilitates polarised E-cadherin secretion" Traffic 23: 374–390.
P{UASp-didum.GT.EGFP}3 is a third chromosome insertion.
