The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Manjunatha Kogenaru, Imperial College London, South Kensington Campus.
P{tubP-GAL80.1xDHFR22-T2A-mCh} carries a tubulin promoter driving GAL80 fused to the destabilizing domain, DHFR22, followed by a self-cleaving T2A linker and mCherry. In the absence of trimethoprim (TMP), the DHFR22 domain destabilizes GAL80. In the presence of TMP, GAL80 is stabilized and can inhibit GAL4.
P{tubP-GAL80.1xDHFR22-T2A-mCh}JB37B is a viable insertion on the second chromosome into JK37B (FBti0102077).
P{tubP-GAL80.1xDHFR22-T2A-mCh}JB89B is an insertion on the third chromosome into JB89B (FBti0102080).
