The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Mark Peifer, University of North Carolina.
TI{TI}pydEGFP was generated by CRISPR-mediated insertion of a homology arm-flanked EGFP-loxP-3xP3-loxP construct at or near  3R:8844954  (R6) followed by CRE-mediated removal of the loxP cassette. This modification results in pyd proteins generated by the RA, RB, RC, RF, RG and RM transcripts being tagged at the N-terminus by EGFP.
TI{TI}pydmCherry was generated identically using a mCherry-loxP-3xP3-RFP-loxP construct.
