The Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center has identified l(3)CHe1 (FBal0195773) and l(3)CHe2 (FBal0195774) as alleles of the Sld5 gene.  l(3)CHe is group 7 in Jiang and Crews, 2006 (FBrf0193980, see also FBrf0199131). Both l(3)Che alleles are homozygous lethal, fail to complement Df(3R)Exel6204 (also shown by Jiang and Crews, 2006, FBrf0193980; RRID:BDSC_7683), Df(3R)BSC140 (RRID:BDSC_9500), and PBac{5HPw+}Sld5A462 (RRID:BDSC_16124), and both complement Df(3R)BSC751 (RRID:BDSC_26849) narrowing the region down to a single gene, Sld5. Whole genome sequencing reveals the same amino acid change in Sld5 in both alleles:
