The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Karen Menuz and Andre Jang, University of Connecticut.
P{UAS-Cdkl.M} expresses Cdkl under UAS control.
P{UAS-Cdkl.M}attP2 is a viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome into attP2 (FBti0040535).
P{UAS-Cdkl.KD} expresses a kinase-dead mutant Cdkl where a missense point mutation (D to N) was introduced into the essential HRD motif, under UAS control.
P{UAS-Cdkl.KD}attP2 is a viable and fertile insertion on the third chromosome into attP2 (FBti0040535).
TI{2A- lexA::p65 }Cdkl2A-lexA was generated by inserting a T2A- lexA::p65  into the C-terminal end of Cdkl using CRISPR/Cas9.
TI{TI}CdklV5 was generated by inserting a V5 tag into the C-terminal end of Cdkl using CRISPR/Cas9.
TI{ lexA::UnkAD }CdklKO.lexA was generated by removing most of the Cdkl coding region and replacing it with a lexA driver using homology directed repair and CRISPR/Cas9. This knockout removes all Cdkl isoforms except isoform D. The lexA sequence acts as a reporter for the Cdkl D isoform.
