Loring Craymer is listed as the discoverer of FM7k. I’m guessing that Loring made FM7k by recombination between FM7a and a In(1)dl-49 chromosome to remove wa and swap in snX2 (without swapping in g4 and vof, which are on FM7c). There have been In(1)dl-49 chromosomes with lots of different markers, so it seems reasonable to think Loring swapped several sets of markers into FM7 by double crossover.
