Only one Isadora element has been studied. It was identified as an insertion at the Bar locus of a chromosome carrying the partial revertant of Bar, B3, and may be responsible for the altered phenotype. It is present at 8 sites on the arms of Oregon R chromosomes but not at the chromocenter. There are no sites for the enzymes BamHI, HindIII, SalI and XhoI.
