phiC31-mediated recombination has been used to replace the attP cassette of the Mi{MIC} element with the intron phase 1 "Trojan GAL4" cassette from the P{lox(Trojan-GAL4)x3} plasmid, in the correct orientation to gene trap the stops gene.
