EcollexAVP16.Gr64c drives expression expressed in 1 (of 2) prothoracic leg tarsal taste bristles in tarsal segment 4, 1 (of 4) prothoracic leg tarsal taste bristles in tarsal segment 5. and 1-2 gustatory receptor neurons associated with the taste pegs. All of the labellar neurons and many of the tarsal S cells send projections to the adult subesophageal zone.
