RSET-jGCaMP8m is a genetically encoded fluorescent Ca[2+] indicator that was generated by adding an N-terminal RSET leader sequence to jGCaMP8m. RSET-jGCaMP8m shows improved basal expression and resting fluorescence compared to jGCaMP8m and retains the fast kinetics and high signal-to-noise ratio of jGCaMP8m.
