Description

Transgenic construct used in a study of the PTS-7 Promoter Targeting Sequence of the Abd-B locus. Contains two divergently transcribed reporters: a w+C marker and a lacZ reporter. A 360bp gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator, a 1.6kb fragment containing Fab-8 and PTS-7 (with PTS-7 proximal to the gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator) and a 1.6 kb IAB-8 enhancer have been inserted downstream of the lacZ reporter.
