Description

Transgenic construct used in a study of the PTS-6 Promoter Targeting Sequence of the Abd-B locus. Contains two divergently transcribed reporters: a w+C marker and a lacZ reporter. A 360bp gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator, a 3' Abd-B fragment (corresponds to nucleotides 178-1502 of a 3.7kb Fab-7 fragment, which includes the PTS6 element, but lacks the Fab-7 element), and a 1.6 kb IAB-8 enhancer have been inserted downstream of the lacZ reporter.
