Description

Transgenic construct used in a study of the PTS-6 Promoter Targeting Sequence of the Abd-B locus. Contains two divergently transcribed reporters: a w+C marker and a lacZ reporter. A gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator, a FRT cassette containing a 3' Abd-B fragment (3.7kb fragment with an internal deletion of nucleotides 1731-2570 that removes the Fab-7 element, but leaves the PTS6 element), and a 1.6 kb PstI IAB-8 enhancer have been inserted downstream of the lacZ reporter.
