Description

Genomic fragment that encompasses Dimm\osk; includes 5kb upstream of the start codon and extends to the end of the Dimm\osk coding sequence. A 1.6kb HindIII-Asp718 fragment that encodes the osk 3'UTR and downstream sequence is present downstream of the Dimm\osk coding sequence. A M103L amino acid replacement has been introduced into the coding sequence; this mutates the first of two methionines near the predicted translation start site of the short Dimm\osk isoform.
