The construct contains elements in the following order: a loxP cassette containing an 825 bp fragment from P{CaSpeR} (containing the end of the 3' UTR of w and the beginning of the P-element sequence that follows the reporter gene), an FRT cassette containing a composite wing, eye and body enhancer, followed by a y reporter gene and a w reporter gene.
