Description

Transgenic construct used to study insulator function. Consists of an FRT cassette containing a 430bp gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator sequence, a y reporter gene, a a loxP cassette containing a 430bp gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator and a w minigene. The loxP cassette is located at nucleotide -350 relative to the w transcription start site. The FRT cassette is located at position -893 relative to the y transcription start site and at position -6726 relative to the w transcription start site.
