Description

Transgenic construct in which w is used as reporters in an enhancer blocking assay; construct used to study interactions between combinations of insulators. Contains the y wing and body enhancers, with an FRT cassette containing an eye enhancer from the w gene inserted in between them. This is followed by a Fab-8 insulator, a loxP cassette containing a gypsy\su(Hw)BR insulator, and then a mini-w gene.
